I am sure he will be having his pre-match, half time and post match roll ups all sorted.

I see Rhodri played quite well today,   Man of the match i believe.  It's a pity the Pirates coaches can't seem to grasp the talent this boy has by giving him a start every week.Still they know best!.Or do they.  I rest my case m'lud.

Yes i admit it I went to the game. Rhoddri was the stand out player for me and Newbury were poor and would be a good team to draw in the cup, thats if the RFU havent changed it by then. Newbury rarely got into the pirates 22.

Bay,
Newbury are now part time having lost some sponsorship at the end of last season,so they released all their full timers and it was clear to see the difference between a full full time outfit and them.
They are not a bad side but the Pirates were superior in all departments today and it showed,I think you'll find it had more to do with the Pirates dominating the game, than Newbury being really bad, although I do think that they may well struggle this year and could be one of the sides involved in a relegation battle.
Although Rhodri had a good game so did many others around him,Adryan Winnan ,Ben Gulliver and Chris Morgan were all prominent.

I think several clubs will opt out, or have already done so,

Did Pirates opt out against Coventry. One would have expected that Pirates, playing a side that have suffered extreme turmoil in the last few months, would come away with a victory.

It needs a few more games to see if Cov can become a force again, on the pitch at least. For Pirates there is, one would imagine, a little worry that the season might not be as productive as has been hoped.

It was good to note how many Pirates went on the Cov board to congratulate the Cov supporters on the win.

We are not an unreasonable bunch, if occasionally prone to [not literal] self flagellation.
The outpourings of angst after Saturday's performance do contrast somewhat with the approach taken by some of this forum's regulars.
