Chris Hales has gone to Redruth and it looks like the Young Hooker Taylor will be with Bay next year. So where has Tom ended up, be nice to see him return to Bay. Doesnt seem that St Ives have got much going for them at the moment or am I very wrong Saints.

Tom Outram has signed as captain for Hakes next season: all the best to him, sure he will turn it around from last season and get promotion this year

I second that. I don't know Tom, but his uncle is a good bloke (he bought me a drink or two), and that is good enough for me.

I'll third it, if that's allowed.  I'm sorry that Tom has left Mounts Bay.  He was a deserved player of the month last year.  When he got a game he always gave a good performance and he's a big signing for the Hakes.  I'm sure this season will be much better for them that the last one.

I think I shall stick to what I'm good at and, as soon as I can work out what that is, I shall stick to it!

Who to St. Ives play first game up, and what are we expecting from them this term?

First game on Saturday week at home against Newton Abbot in a 12 team league.
With the new signings and with less travelling this season, Snives will surely be disappointed if they don't go straight back up.

It would appear that they are stronger than last term. Caldy played Newton Abbot in the cup run a couple of seasons ago.

I watched St Ives play Hayle on Saturday and from what i seen i'm not sure they will go straight back up. Very strong pack but very lightweight and inexperianced backs.

Well keep the ball up front: plenty of driving mauls.

Oh b*gg*r, I forgot about the ELVs.

A few overseas boys, James Earp, Stuart Turnbull and maybe Rudolf Meredith from redruth? to come into the backs within the next month. These players are neither lightweight or inexperienced and should produce the goods. The pack is good and very strong as stated.

Rudolf Meredith would be a quality signing, would cut up a few back lines in SW2 i should think.

With Earp and Meredith in the centre, Turnbull at scrum half and a couple of quick overseas boys on the wings maybe Grant Thirlby at 10? you are looking at a potent backline i reckon.
