Dickon, will you be playing yourself (if selected that is)?

He has still got legs, hasn't he? No sense of adventure, if you ask me.

No dont play these days Dave. I love coaching and I stopped playing at the right time, something I dont regret now I'm 40 - use these games to assess the myriad of new players we have and to get gametime into those that need it.

Dickon, I know there is a difference between playing at a reasonable level and just having a run round. However having a run round can still be fun. I had a break from playing of about twelve years, but started up again last season. I played half a dozen games; just a shame that I am a little slower than I was 40 years ago.

Yep agree with that Dave. Unfortunately, apart from having a right arm seemingly made of glass, coaching is all embracing so my fleeting appearances are limited to very occasional Vets matches.

Tumbler said you had broken it twice in five games. You must stop hitting people!

A brief demonstration of how glasslike I am - played a game of cricket on Sunday and broke my right hand! Wouldnt have minded too much, but went out to open the batting (not knowing that it was broken at the time) and was out for a golden duck!! The word I uttered rhymes with duck as it happens...

Perhaps not playing rugby is a wise move then.

I hope it wasn't your 'glass holding' hand that was broken.

I think I shall stick to what I'm good at and, as soon as I can work out what that is, I shall stick to it!

TDH - you know me mate. It would take more than a broken right hand to keep me from a beer!

Newlyn Boy - fair play! Good detective work.

54 at training last week - at this rate I will need more coaches!

An astonishing club record 65 players turned up for training this week. Just as well I had 5 coaches available!!

If the coaches were 15 seater, you still had a few spaces left!

What a magnificent turnout.

If the coaches were 15 seaters, wouldn't they be minibusses?

A minibus is a minibus. A coach is a coach.

15 seater coaches available from: http://www.carrentalinindia.co.in/15seater_motor_coach_in_delhi.htm
