Things settling down a bit now Dickon, a chance to show the other teams how strong you can be, half time score announced at the Mennaye on Saturday, well received.

London Cornish are delighted to announce the return of our 4th XV after an absence of over 20 years. The club has now grown from 2 to 4 teams in the last 4 years as formal agreements about extra pitches and changing facilities have been reached with long term landlords The Wimbledon Common Conservators.

The club are looking for a nickname for the 4s, who will play their first competitive fixture this weekend after over 30 players turned up to play for the 3s last week. So far, 'London Cornish Buccaneers' is the favourite!

From 2 to 4 teams, Dickon you must be well choughed.

It is not necesssary to understand things in order to argue about them.

We are slowly getting there but Andover will be no pushover now that they have some of their forces players back in action. The Telegraph will be rocking on Saturday night tho and I am guessing we may get a new club record attendance at training tomorrow night (58 to beat).

Disappointed - we got 54 at training so the record remains!

What a shame, if we had known it would be that close the Boarding Party would have been there.

I am afraid that due to a lack of numbers, 14, we have regretfully had to cancel the trip.

However, we plan to try again next season.

Always hang out in the red zone!

Likewise, i've got my LC polo shirt, just waiting for the opportunity to strip it off and wave it around my head bellowing 'Cornish, Cornish' or something of that ilk.

I think I shall stick to what I'm good at and, as soon as I can work out what that is, I shall stick to it!

Pz01, you wrote " What a shame, if we had known it would be that close the Boarding Party would have been there", in response to Dickon's figure of the numbers training.

As much as I have tried I still can not see the Boarding Party as being fit and able to train - unless it were in the bar after.

Dickon, great result for you. Well done.

Yes, we really could do with some practice in that aspect of our game... I've a nasty feeling that one of our number actually left a glass less that completely empty at one point this afternoon, something the coaching staff may need to look into.

I just hope it was Pz01. He had something of an excuse.

I guess you're referring to me and the red wine.  I did mention that even when it's free red wine makes me spew.  Yet again, i was proved correct.  It did.  Just that one half glass of wine, on its own apart from the 10 pints of stout, lo and behold it was yark time the minute i got in the door.  Well I wasn't gonna do it while you were there to laugh!

Thanks chaps - really was a decent performance against a side who were only narrowly relegated from London 2 last season. We missed 10 kickable points and were held up over the line 3 times so the result truly reflects how far we have come. Keep em coming!

Great one's result for LCRFC but i think a better indication of overall club strength / momentum is the 4 wins the club collectively had on Sat.

It was the first time in 20 years we put a 4's out. Post match the oppo accused us od sending our 3's!

I'm a betting man and the chances of putting 5 sides out is a highly likely!
