Phew, that was some day!  PZ01 kindly arranged a people carrier and we were collected at 0730, got to the ground at 1515 but it was a great game, all credit to Barking for staying up in the league.  The supporters were friendly, the weather wasn't - hence some of the shots being a bit blurry (it really is grim up north).  PZ01 did a sterling job of getting us all home again - think we wobbled in about 2am.  Enjoy the pics (sorry BoP - have completely forgotten your words of wisdom re putting pics on a link but Imageshack is being particularly giving and quick this morning however so not as frustrated as usual).

TDH and BoP cracked open the sherbets for medicinal purposes only (we got stuck in horrendous traffic through London)

I hasten to point out that I was NOT in the process of clunking down an entire bottle of JD - Fish had simply provided me with a nip of "something to keep the chill out"!

Not sure who I should have warned here - Merlin before boarding the team bus or the team that Merlin was joining them

TDH, if you can be arsed, where are you going to post them?

Hope, another excellent set. No wonder TDH is not posting his.

Another good day out it would seem.

My secret is out, it's worth doing for the overtime though.....I get time & a turd!
No doubt someone will come up with a crapper job than above or it will all descend into toilet humour.........

Ladies and Gents, I think all toilet humour should be panned otherwise we will just get bogged down in silly posts that leave us all feeling inconvenienced.

A civic reception for Mounts bay would not go amiss, unless someone thinks it is taking the p....

Civic is, by the way, the first palindrome that I can remember being aware of.

DaveH, I do wonder about you sometimes.  Every fule no that a Civic is a Honda, not a Palindrome

No, no! I think you are mixing it up with Sunday night at the London Palindrome.

Civic, of course, once used to rival Armitage Shanks, Limoges and Dresden for its porcelain. Percy pointed that out to me ages ago.

I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Was Percy in the same Lancaster as Bunty & Ginger? That would have taken Dresden out of the equation...

Plane speaking from BoP as usual but I hope that joke doesn't bomb.

Anyway, in my view, a palindrome is just backward thinking....

And while you're all feeling flush, get BoP another pint. You know you can all afford it, otherwise, you wouldn't be able to do all that travelling up to places like Barking.
