Brizzle seems like a good idea to me.  i guess we'd go by car.  I'd be happy to drive.

I think I shall stick to what I'm good at and, as soon as I can work out what that is, I shall stick to it!

TDH, why are you going to Birkenhead? TRFC is Tranmere Rovers Football Club.

I don't mean to put a potential spanner in the works, but the outbound flight does mean an early start. Also the price is going up by the day - now £40.98, but for a gorup of 10 £43.18. Rule of thumb for Easyjet is book as early as possible.

Exeter: only £16.18 return to Newcastle with flybe.com

Well it would be if there weren't £53.80 tax on top!

You must get in quick with Easyjet - the problem is that if you don't go you lose the money.

I am wondering what a 'gorup' is, as in my previous post.

I recieved this email this morning from TRFC (smile/bgrinl2.gif DaveH)

Andrew,

Great to hear from you - may I also congratulate you and your club on your promotion. I think 'The Boarding Party" also deserve special congratulations on a tremendous effort in attending last season's away matches - at least we had a couple of local derbies and several others within three hours travel (just!).

I agree - flying easly seems your cheapest and best option. To get to Corbridge by train from Newcastle Airport involves a metro train from the Airport to Newcastle Central and then a second train out to Corbridge. Not sure of the cost but the airport is less than 20 miles from Corbridge and its probably cheaper, if there's a few of you, to jump into a taxi. A taxi will cost around £25 and it should take around 20 minutes. However, if you have plenty of time on your hands and you fancy a look around Newcastle then the train is ideal - the station at Corbridge is adjacent to the entrance to our club.

If you want any more info let me know.

Look forward to meeting you all in September.

Cheers,
Wallace Cousin (Tynedale RFC)

Wallace, if you read this, believe me, you should not look forward to meeting them. Only joking chaps.

Tynedale had a player paralysed a few years back, Ali Johnson. Details on their website under 'Ali'.

DavidW, no I was only responding to a TDH putting an entry in to TRFC.

By the way was it that you gorup to no good this morning, or am I mixing you up with BoP, for instance.

Its wasted, I'm afraid, BoP. No one will understand your last post. It definitely has to be one of the most frequently misspelled words, if not in Christendom, at least in forums.

By the way are Bay, Wino and TDH a good mix?
