Bill, I have been blackballed by smaller fish than the powers that be.

One point though., in these days of political correctness are we allowed to say 'blackballed'?

Cornwall Coaching Appointment for Dave "Benjie" Thomas


By Alan Mitchell, Cornwall RFU Hon. Secretary.

The Cornwall RFU would like to publicise the fact that Mr Dave "Benjie" Thomas, has agreed to become the County's coaching co-ordinator and will work with the current selectors, Graham Still, John May and Terry Carter, in the selection and coaching of all the County's senior teams for season 2007-08. He has stated that he will introduce specialist positional skills coaches as required during this season's campaign. Mr. Richard Lamb of St. Austell assisted by Ian Morgan currently Launceston Academy coach have agreed to work together with Dave with regard all duties relating to the development teams as well as preparing the team to win the Tamar Cup against Devon, which is due to be played in March, date still to be confirmed.

So is he the coach or just the co-ordinator, Morgs help!!!

The Blazers will be out in force for their first airing of the spring, there could be a strong smell of mothballs!!!

Anyway the serious stuff. Cornwall U.20's play their first Championship match on Sunday 24th February against Gloucestershire at the Mennaye with a 2-30pm kick-off.
