We are big Ponty Fans and are thrilled to see that Mounts Bay are hosting pre-season friendly with Pony on 8.8.08. We are on holiday in the area and would like to come to the game. Can anyone advise on buying tickets and parking. many thanks.

Hi

Parking is all around in the streets but in front of Alexandra Road/Promenade playground is good, get there an hour before kick off for a pint and park in the front car park between the pillars, but we usually go to Lidls and get our bargains after the match!

Tickets are usually not sold in advance (Coventry was the only exception this year in the cup).  The gate price will be about 6 or 7 quid at a guess but the stand is 1 or 2 extra with a programme at 1 usually.

Hope you enjoy the Mennaye!

The Alex next to the ground has a very nice beer garden and is at this moment being done up.

Can someone confirm the date and time of the pre-season match against Pontypridd RFC?  The Pontypridd RFC website has two dates and kick off times: the 8 Aug at 7.30 and the 9th Aug at 2.30

Many thanks in advance

If you look on the Plymouth website also they are playing Neath on the 23rd and Bay on the 24th. These  clubs just have bigger squads thats all.

Ponty are playing their development side against Redruth's dev' side, we haven't got a big enough squad to play twice in two days, we are not as "fortunate" as Lanson!!!!!!!
