CAB'S have signed fly half Adam Staniforth and wing/centre Tom Bedford both from Exeter.

They have also signed on loan for the season a prop Ben Moon from Exeter Chiefs but they have lost scrum half Sam Alford who has signed for Bristol.

According to Nat One forum Newbury and Cornwall full back Mal Roberts has signed for the CAB's.

Excellent signing[if true]; I thought he had an Army posting near Laandon?

Wonder how much dosh he is on, his Dad once told me Newbury were paying him £35K.  Mind you we were in the Chinese and he'd sunk a few by then.

Newbury are facing financial problems and going part time next year,so a number of players have been released,most are going to other Nat One clubs but a couple are going to Ealing and another to Blackheath,Mal Roberts is listed as joining the CAB's.

CAB's have continued their signings for next year by recruiting forward Ian Wilson from Exeter according to the chiefs forum.

Heard today that the CABs may have signed a forward from Bay

Hope he doesnt end up in their development squad.

Launceston have denied signing Mal Roberts but expect an announcement soon on Glen Remnant (Cambridge).  He played for Eastern Counties on Sat., good player.

The CAB's certainly seem to be intent on going straight back up to Nat One along with Bee's or Sedgley Pk(depending on who comes down,as its all subject to appeal) they will be the 2 favourites to gain the promotion places.

The last post does raise the rumour of Andy Birkett moving to Bay from Lanson; any comments from the well informed?[or anyone else??]

Its now been mentioned on Nat One forum that Andy Birkett is signing for the Bay.

Andy Birkett could be part of a veritable stream of players.

I see that Matt Jess has signed for Exeter.

Heard tonite that Birkett has signed for Albion??

That makes a change,they seem to be losing folk rather than recruiting them!.
