Did training go well this week Dickon,good luck today,forget last week and give Winchester 1st.hell.

Put an extra session in this week Merlin, and have 9 changes from last weeks side. Will have to wait and see what effect this has made but have gone for experience over potential this time!

No denying it is a tough little period for LCRFC just now. Had 48 players missing across the club on Saturday, had to concede the 3s match and lost more players injured in the two matches we did play. By the time we play Saturdays league match (our 4th), we will have used over 30 different players in the 1s already. Its a long season, we have plenty of ammo to bring back in and we will work hard in training and on match days to put things right. Wont happen overnight, but it will happen! We experienced a similar thing a couple of seasons ago when we first got promoted into the regional leagues, so am drawing on that experience to help me put it right this time!

48 missing, used 30 in the 1s, we could at this moment do with a few of them, if you have a few (backs)available for October when we have to go ,up for us down for you, to Cantabury, that would be very useful.

 

Dickon I see from your 1's fixture list that you are playing Trojans on October 13th(EDF). Is that the Southampton based Trojans or another team.  

Yes thats the Southampton based Trojans - its the 2nd Round of the EDF Senior Vase.

Good as I can't get down to Penzance that weekend, i'll stay in Southampton and come and watch your game. What time Kickoff?

Have things been positive in training this week Dickon.

Well we are playing Cobham tomorrow Merlin, and they have won their last 24 league matches! We have a few tactics up our sleeves but we have 5 front row playing in the pack and 2 fellas making their debuts. We also have Cornishmen in every row in the pack and right across our back line so it wont lack for passion tomorrow!

Lets hope its unlucky 25 for them then,they gotta lose one day,lets hope its today.

No, no sulking here. It is perfect weather up here for an upset with showers and damp conditions. Looking forward to it!

Dickon, is there a way you could update Mounts Bay of your scores when Bay at home, sure all would appreciate an update on the tanoy.

We do give our half time scores to Radio Cornwall who do read them out. I know Radio Drekly are sending a reporter to our match at London Irish on Saturday so coverage should be good. Am happy to text someone the score if you give me a number. PM me and I will respond.
